Dr. Tammy Burnham is an Associate Professor in the Education Core at Winthrop University's College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences. With over 35 years in education, she transitioned from elementary teaching across multiple states to founding a K-12/post-secondary learning center focused on differentiated instruction. At Winthrop since 2002, she teaches courses in educational core, elementary methods, reflective practice, and internship supervision. Her research emphasizes at-risk student populations, teacher development, and motivational psychology.
