Tammy Agnew Williams is a Professor in the Department of Financial Planning, Housing and Consumer Economics at the University of Georgia's College of Family and Consumer Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. and MBA, with certifications as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®).

Her research focuses on financial education, literacy, and policy, particularly addressing barriers like FAFSA completion, household financial well-being, and behavioral approaches to financial decision-making. Recent publications examine behavioral interventions in financial education, the impact of relationship quality on financial health, and condensed teaching methods for financial literacy programs. These works span subfields such as educational effectiveness, cognitive biases in spending, and policy design.
