Dr. Tameka Bailey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Arkansas State University, affiliated with the Beck College of Sciences & Mathematics. Her research focuses on molecular mechanisms in vascular biology and cancer metastasis.
- Education: BS (2002) from University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff; Ph.D. (2007) from University of Arkansas at Fayetteville
Her research interests include breast cancer brain metastasis, vascular dysfunction, signal transduction, cell-to-cell communication, protein-to-protein interactions, and epitranscriptomics. She investigates angiopoietin-like proteins in vascular permeability and vasodilation in health and disease.
