Tamara N. Lujic

Tamara N. Lujic serves as a Researcher at the Department of Biochemistry within the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, where she teaches Toxicological Biochemistry and Toxicological Chemistry courses while holding a Master of Academic Studies in Chemical Sciences.

Her academic foundation includes:

• Basic academic studies in Chemical Sciences (2015-2019) from the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Chemistry

Her research spans Toxicology, Biochemistry, and Environmental Chemistry with specialized focus on micro/nano-plastic toxicity combined with environmental pollutants in allergic disease pathways, and immunological diagnostics for infectious diseases. Dr. Lujic actively contributes to major international research initiatives including the Horizon 2020-funded IMPTOX project (2021-2025) developing analytical platforms for plastic toxicity assessment, and a completed USAID-supported project (2020) focused on sustainable serological IgG testing for SARS-CoV-2. Her work demonstrates consistent engagement in high-impact environmental health research with European Commission and United Nations development frameworks.
