Tamara Berg

Tamara Berg is a Professor in Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies at Winona State University with 20+ years of experience. A survivor of campus assault, she leads initiatives to combat gender-based violence (GBV) through a $600,000 federal grant, establishing a 24/7 helpline and prevention programs.

She advises the Coordinated Community Response Team and advocates for survivor-centered resources. Her teaching addresses sexual violence stigma reduction, informed by personal experience and Title IX expertise.
