Talibah Daniel is an academic and educational leader at Bank Street College of Education, where she serves as a Supervised Fieldwork Advisor and Course Instructor. Her career spans over two decades in education, transitioning from legal studies to impactful roles in K-12 leadership. She has served as a classroom teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, and held district-level positions such as Regional Instructional Supervisor and Senior Executive Director for School Improvement. Her work focuses on curriculum design, school improvement initiatives, and advancing equitable educational practices.
Dr. Daniel’s expertise includes supporting over 200 school leaders across New York City’s five boroughs through professional development, curriculum implementation, and quality reviews. She emphasizes civil rights in education, aligning with her commitment to advocating for underserved students. Her educational background includes an MSEd in Education Supervision and Administration from City University of New York and an MA in Legal Studies from York University.
She currently contributes to Bank Street’s online programs, including the Early Childhood Leadership and Progressive Leadership Program, preparing future educators to address systemic inequities in public education.
