Talia Carroll serves as Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Oklahoma City University and holds adjunct professor positions in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership at both Oklahoma City University and the University of Northern Colorado. With over 14 years of experience across Texas, Pennsylvania, and Colorado, she leverages global perspectives from living in Portugal, Singapore, and Spain to advance institutional belonging through integrity, equity, and transformative learning.
Her educational foundation includes a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Pennsylvania State University, an M.Ed. in Adult and Higher Education, and a B.A. in English from the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Carroll's research focuses on strategic DEI implementation in higher education, emphasizing capacity building through lived experiences and cross-cultural engagement. She advocates for scaling institutional impact through intentional dialogue and community-centered practices that connect global perspectives to campus belonging initiatives.
Her notable recognitions include:
