Takahiro Fujimoto

Takahiro Fujimoto is a Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tokyo, and serves as Executive Director of the Manufacturing Management Research Center (MMRC). His research focuses on the co-evolution of capability and architecture in manufacturing industries, with a comparative lens on European and East Asian contexts.

During 2016–2017, he was a Visiting Academic at the Collegium de Lyon, France, where he conducted a project analyzing the interplay between industrial capabilities and organizational structures across regions. His work bridges economic theory with practical manufacturing strategies, emphasizing cross-regional comparisons to inform policy and management practices.
