Tae Youn Kim, Ph.D., R.N., is a Professor at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at the University of California, Davis. She is actively engaged in teaching, research, and mentoring students in health informatics, with a focus on leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes. Her work spans interdisciplinary collaborations and is supported by funding from the National Science Foundation, the International Council of Nurses, and the National Institute of Nursing Research.
Her research interests include health informatics, nursing informatics, care coordination for chronically ill older adults, and the development and harmonization of healthcare terminologies such as the International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP).
