TJ D’Agostino

TJ D’Agostino is an Assistant Professor in the Pulte Institute for Global Development within the Keough School of Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame. His research focuses on international education, education policy, school effectiveness, faith-based schools, early grade literacy, and integral human development.

• Education: BA and MEd from Notre Dame, PhD from Vanderbilt University
• Former associate director of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Haiti

His research explores the intersection of faith-based education and global development, with a focus on Catholic schools in Kenya, Uganda, and Haiti. He examines how educational policies and programs influence literacy outcomes, institutional character, and human development in diverse contexts.
