Dr. T. X. Zhang is a Professor of Physics at Alabama A&M University, affiliated with the College of Engineering, Technology, and Physical Sciences. His research focuses on solar/plasma physics, cosmology, and quantum computing. He leads projects funded by IBM-HBCU Quantum Center, exploring Josephson pulses for quantum computing applications.
Research Interests span:
- Solar plasma dynamics including coronal heating and CME simulations
- Cosmological models like the Black Hole Universe and 5D gravity theories
- Quantum phenomena including quark interactions and neutrino oscillations
Publications emphasize cosmological models (Black Hole Universe theory), plasma fusion mechanisms, and spacetime dynamics. His work resolves cosmic paradoxes through innovative theoretical frameworks like electric redshift and gravitational shielding models.
He has advised multiple graduate/undergraduate students and holds memberships in AAS/AGU/AIAA. His IBM-funded project (2022-2023) involves quantum computing research with student participation, addressing quantum bit control challenges through Josephson junction studies.
