T. Michael McAtee is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business and Management and School of Social and Behavioral Science at National Louis University (NLU). He has served as an adjunct faculty member since 1999, focusing on Leadership, Management, Marketing, and Organizational Behavior across undergraduate and graduate programs. His career spans over 30 years in corporate management, including roles as Country Vice President in the diamond and jewelry industry and executive positions in training and Six-Sigma quality processes.
Dr. McAtee holds an Ed.D. in Adult Education (focusing on Human Growth and Development), an M.S. in Management, and a B.A. in English and Marketing Communications. He is certified in Instructional Design, Project Management, and Six-Sigma Black Belt.
His research emphasizes adult learners' academic and professional success, particularly in achieving bachelor’s degrees. He advocates for personalized educational support to help adults navigate higher education challenges. He teaches exclusively at NLU due to its focus on adult learners.
Professional certifications include Master Trainer Designation and Master of Project Management. He maintains no on-campus office but is reachable via scheduled meetings.
