T. David Curp is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at Ohio University's College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on modern European history, particularly Poland, with expertise in ethno-national relations, religious life, and church-state dynamics during post-war transformations.

His publications highlight ethnic cleansing in post-war Europe, the role of the Catholic Church in Poland's transformations, and ideological conflicts during nationalist revolutions. These works span sub-fields like post-war Europe, political violence, religious education, and historical memory.
Curp has received grants from the Fulbright Scholars Program, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Council of Russian, East European and Eurasian Research, and the International Research and Exchange Board.
He teaches courses on postwar Europe, modern Poland, Balkan history, and themes like ethnic cleansing. Curp is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies and the Polish Studies Association.
