Søren Linderoth

Søren Linderoth is the Head of Department and Professor at the Department of Energy Conversion and Storage, Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He leads DTU Energy, a research unit focused on sustainable energy solutions. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in renewable energy and materials science.

Research Interests: Dr. Linderoth specializes in thermoelectrics, oxide materials, and solid oxide fuel cells. His work includes developing energy conversion systems for waste heat recovery and carbon capture technologies using novel materials like oxides and ceramics. He explores interfaces in complex oxides to enhance electronic properties for advanced applications.

Key Projects: Linderoth supervises PhD projects on thermoelectric materials (both n-type and p-type), electrolyte development for low-temperature SOFCs, and waste heat recovery systems. He also participates in international forums on energy transition, such as the Sino-Denmark Bilateral Forum.
