Søren Beck Nielsen

Søren Beck Nielsen serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Nordic Studies and Linguistics at the University of Copenhagen's Faculty of Humanities. His research focuses on procedures of intersubjectivity in face-to-face interaction, with particular emphasis on health care communication and climate change discourse. With over 62 research outputs including journal articles, book chapters, and books, Nielsen has established himself as a significant contributor to conversation analysis and language psychology.

His educational background shows progression from PhD fellow (2004-2007) through scientific assistant, postdoc, and assistant professor positions to his current associate professorship since 2013.
