Dr.-Ing. Sönke Rogalla is the Head of Department for Power Electronics and Grid Integration at Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, part of the Division Power Solutions. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Braunschweig, specializing in grid interaction of converters and impedance spectroscopy. His research focuses on power electronics for renewable energy systems, dynamic grid interactions, and grid-forming converter control.
