Prof. Milutin Petronijević is a Professor at the Department of Power Engineering, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Niš. He heads the MiSGrid Lab and specializes in electric drives, power converters, and renewable energy systems. His work focuses on high-performance drive control, grid integration of renewable sources, and microgrid stability.
He has taught courses in Electric Vehicles and Traction, Power Transformers, and Control of Power Converters and Drives across BSc, MSc, and PhD programs. His research includes over 74 publications and projects on topics like crane drive systems, photovoltaic inverter testing, and anti-skew control algorithms.
Key contributions include developing robust control strategies for electrical drives and grid-connected inverters, with practical implementations in industrial settings like railway auxiliary systems and cement plant cranes.
