Prof. Dr. Sönke Albers is a **Distinguished Research Professor of Marketing and Innovation** at Kühne Logistics University (KLU) in Hamburg, Germany. He previously served as Dean of Research at KLU (2010–2024) and held academic roles at Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel, WHU, and the University of Lüneburg. His career includes leadership positions such as Rector of WHU and Dean of the School of Business at Kiel University. He holds a doctorate in Operations Research from the University of Hamburg and an honorary doctorate from Goethe University Frankfurt.
