معرفی
Sándor Lenk is an Associate Professor at the Department of Atomic Physics, Budapest University of Technology and Economics. His research focuses on laser spectroscopy, nanoparticle characterization, and fluorescence analysis, with applications in materials science, biophysics, and environmental monitoring. He leads projects involving picosecond laser diodes for fluorescence decay measurements, scanning probe microscopy for SiC nanoparticles, and hydrogel polymer swelling dynamics. He teaches physics courses for engineering and applied science students in Hungarian, German, and English.
Research interests include laser measurement techniques, nanomaterials, and plant physiological responses. Recent work explores UV imaging for pharmaceutical analysis, ecotoxicological effects of herbicides, and iron uptake mechanisms in plants. His publications span topics from silicon carbide functionalization to chlorophyll-based sensors for environmental assessment.
Key contributions include the development of immunofluorescence assays for mycotoxin detection in water and structural investigations of semicrystalline polymers. His lab collaborates on projects involving nanocrystal defect qubits and laser-induced fluorescence imaging.
