Sylvia Goodman is a Professor at Southern Nazarene University's School of Rehabilitation and Sport Sciences. She has served in multiple leadership roles since joining SNU in 2001, including Athletic Training Program Director, Department Chair, Dean, and currently as Chair of Graduate Programs in Kinesiology overseeing the Master of Arts in Sport Management and Administration and the Master of Science in Exercise Science programs.

Her professional experiences span academia, sports medicine, and international athletic events. Goodman worked as an athletic trainer for the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center, Pan Am Games, Olympic Games, US Figure Skating Championships, and Boston Marathon. She also contributed to anti-doping efforts as a Drug Control Officer for USADA and WADA.
