Swathi Baddam

Swathi Baddam is a Teaching Assistant Professor of Business Administration and Academic Director of the Operations Management Major at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's Gies College of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration/Operations and Supply Chain Management from Cleveland State University (2014) and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering (2007). Her research focuses on sustainable supply chain management, business analytics, and pedagogical innovations in business education.

Research Interests:

• Sustainable supply chain design and resilience
• Data-driven decision-making in operations
• Evaluation of teaching effectiveness through text mining

Recent Work: Her publications address supplier problem resolution frameworks, student feedback analysis, and ethical considerations in supplier selection. She consistently integrates practical business challenges into her research.
