Swapnil Shivajirao Pawar

Dr. Swapnil Shivajirao Pawar is a visiting faculty member at Harvard Macy Health Professional Educator’s course and affiliated with UNSW Sydney. He is a Fellow of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (FCICM) and holds a European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC). His work focuses on simulation-based medical education, cognitive load detection, and emotional state analysis in healthcare settings.

His research applies Cognitive Load Theory to clinical environments and uses simulation to diagnose latent safety threats in critical care. Current projects include the SITAR initiative funded by a $170,000 ACI research grant. He has received recognition through the Young Lecturer Award (ESICM) and ANZICS Best Paper award.
