Dr. Svetlana Corwin is an Associate Professor of English at Belmont Abbey College, specializing in Slavic literature, literary criticism, and the intersection of religion and literature. She teaches courses on rhetoric, Western literary classics, and the works of Dostoevsky. Her research focuses on 19th-century Russian literature, particularly Dostoevsky’s exploration of Christian ethics, and she has presented at conferences such as the Faith and Reason Lecture Series and Christianity and Literature Conference.
