Sverre Flaatten is a Professor at the Norwegian Police University College (PHS), specializing in the intersection of sociology of law, criminology, and legal history. His current research focuses on police socialization and Max Weber's sociological methods in legal studies. Previously, he led the research group "Police, Law, and Society" at PHS.
