Svenja Wirries is a doctoral researcher at the Technical University of Dortmund, focusing on (in)formal care networks in rural areas, particularly supporting family caregivers of older adults aged 65+ in need of care. Her work addresses challenges posed by social developments like geographical distance between family members and underdeveloped infrastructure in rural care services.
