Dr. Suzy Clarkson is a Lecturer in Counseling Psychology at the School of Psychology and Sports Science, Bangor University. She also serves as the Counselling Placement Coordinator and Pastoral Tutor for the MSc Counseling Psychology course.
Her professional roles include working as a Sessional Counsellor for the NHS Primary Mental Health Care Team at Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board. She holds the position of UK Hub KiVa Coordinator and is the Deputy Director of the Centre of Evidence Based Early Intervention at Bangor University.
Research Interests: Suzy's work focuses on Bullying Prevention, Child Mental Health, Anti-Bullying Programs, and Implementation Science. She specializes in evaluating the Effectiveness of Evidence-Based Interventions in educational settings, particularly the KiVa Anti-Bullying Programme in the UK context.
