Suzanne Walsh is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Anthropology at Wayne State University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She holds an M.A. in Anthropology from Wayne State University (2016) and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Eastern Michigan University (2005). Her research focuses on the intersection of technology, business, and culture, including studies on AI-driven data analysis and its societal implications.
Recent work includes exploring ethnographic approaches to understanding everyday interactions with AI systems, as seen in her 2023 publication in EPIC Proceedings. She teaches ANT2050 - Anthropology of Business across multiple terms, bridging anthropological theory with contemporary business practices.
