Suzanne Kent is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Anthropology and Geography at Colorado State University (CSU), affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts. She holds a Ph.D., M.A., and B.A. in Anthropology from Michigan State University and the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her research focuses on environmental anthropology, conservation, globalization, and pedagogical methodologies, with recent projects addressing cultural dynamics, tourism, and resilience in Honduras's Bay Islands. She merges educational expertise with anthropological frameworks in teaching and research. Courses include Cultural Anthropology, Global Systems, Development Theory, and Anthropological Pedagogy.
