Suzanne Peters serves as a Research Fellow (Net Zero Transition) within the Project Management Office for Human Resource Management, Employment Relations & Law at the Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. She is actively affiliated with the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research, contributing to the critical project "Addressing the net-zero and productivity challenges: How could the housing and construction sector play a key role?" under the supervision of Professors Jonatan Pinkse and Graham Winch.
Her research spans sustainability and business strategy with concentrated expertise in net-zero transition within the construction sector, purpose-driven business models, stakeholder management frameworks, and organizational trust dynamics. This work directly supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and Goal 13 (Climate Action), addressing systemic challenges in housing and construction productivity.
Prior to her Manchester appointment, Peters leveraged extensive corporate experience leading marketing and communications for major Canadian brands. She has also imparted knowledge through post-graduate instruction at Centennial College in Toronto and delivered an MBA module on Power and Influence in Organizations at Carleton University in Ottawa, demonstrating practical industry-to-academia knowledge transfer.
