Suzanne Fenton

Dr. Suzanne Fenton serves as Group Leader of the Reproductive Endocrinology Group within the National Toxicology Program (NTP) Labs at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), part of the National Institutes of Health. Her research focuses on environmental chemical impacts on mammary gland development, puberty timing, breast cancer susceptibility, and lactational ability.

Her primary research interests include reproductive toxicology, environmental endocrinology, and mammary gland development. Dr. Fenton employs systems biology approaches to study how environmental chemicals affect breast development and cancer risk factors such as obesity and breast density. Her work bridges laboratory research with human health risk assessment through extensive publication of NTP-CERHR monographs.
