Suzanne Craft, PhD, is a Professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine with dual appointments in Gerontology and Geriatrics and Internal Medicine. Her research focuses on Alzheimer's Disease, insulin resistance, and dietary impacts on cognitive health, supported by affiliations with multiple centers, including the Maya Angelou Research Center for Healthy Communities and the Sticht Center for Healthy Aging and Alzheimer’s Prevention.

- Training: Internship in Clinical Neuropsychology at VA Medical Center-Boston (1985), Fellowships at Boston University School of Medicine (1986) and Harvard Medical School (1987)
Craft's work explores the neuroendocrinological mechanisms linking metabolic disorders to cognitive decline, with a particular emphasis on aging-related neuropathology and translational interventions. Her recent publications highlight ethanol/cocaine interactions, primate models of Alzheimer's, and cognitive-physical function relationships in older adults.
