Suzanne Chang is a Senior Lecturer at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (NUS). She holds a PhD in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business (2019) and a BA in Economics from Northwestern University. Prior to NUS, she served as an Assistant Professor at Tulane University's Freeman School of Business and gained policy experience at the U.S. Federal Reserve Board.
Her research focuses on household finance and government regulation, with recent recognition including the 2023 Sydney Banking and Financial Stability Conference Best Paper Award. She teaches PP5408: Methods and Tools for Policy Analysis 2, emphasizing practical policy evaluation techniques.
Her work bridges financial systems and public policy, exploring topics like credit access’s role in human capital development and anticipatory regulatory impacts. Suzanne’s expertise also intersects with public management and regulatory frameworks, reflecting her interdisciplinary academic and professional background.
