Suzanne Banford is the Deputy Head of the Division of Midwifery within the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Chester, UK. She serves under the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society, contributing to strategic and operational leadership. As a Senior Lecturer, she specializes in midwifery education with over 20 years of combined clinical, leadership, and academic experience in the NHS.
Education includes a BSc in Midwifery (University of Salford), BSc in Nursing (University of Liverpool), MA in Clinical Education (Edge Hill University), and PG Cert in Teaching in Higher Education. She holds Nursing and Midwifery Council registration as an Adult Nurse and Midwife.
