Dr Suyin Hor is a Senior Lecturer and HDR Coordinator in the School of Public Health at UTS. Her research examines how safety and quality care are accomplished in complex health systems, with specialization in infection prevention.
Her methodological expertise includes participatory, practice-based approaches with healthcare professionals and patients. Current NHMRC-funded projects focus on IPC during COVID-19, community pandemic preparedness, and IPC in aged care homes.
Teaching: Leads subjects in Health Services Management and Public Health programs including Improving Safety and Quality in Healthcare, and Communicable Disease Prevention.
