Susanne Soretz holds the Chair of Economic Growth, Structural Change and Trade at the University of Greifswald's Faculty of Law and Economics. She completed her habilitation in Economics at the University of Hannover in 2004.
Her research examines government spending effects, economic integration, resource depletion under uncertainty, and environmental behavior. Soretz leads a research team investigating these topics with applications to policy development.
She teaches courses in growth economics, structural change, and international trade while supervising graduate research projects.
