Susanne Kramer

Susanne Kramer is a Professor in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at the University of Würzburg's Biocenter. She leads the Kramer Lab, focusing on mRNA metabolism and posttranscriptional gene regulation in trypanosomes. Her academic journey includes a PhD from LMU Munich (2005), postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge (2005–2011), and a DFG-funded Junior Group Leader position (2011–2018) before earning a Heisenberg Professorship in 2022.
