Professor Susannah Ahern is a medical administrator and academic at Monash University, leading the Clinical Outcomes Data Reporting and Research Program. She serves as the Monash Academic Lead for six national clinical quality registries in dementia, cystic fibrosis, breast devices, spine surgery, and pelvic floor procedures. Her research focuses on registry governance, data utilization, benchmarking, and stakeholder engagement. Ahern manages over $4M in annual research projects and contributes to national policy through roles in expert advisory groups. She has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles and serves on committees such as the Australian Clinical Trial Alliance Registry Special Interest Group and the International Collaboration of Breast Registry Activities (ICOBRA).
Education: MBBS (Hons) from the University of Melbourne (1997), MBA from Monash University (2005), and PhD from the University of Melbourne (2016).
