Susanna Strandberg is a university lecturer and PhD in nursing science at Linnaeus University, affiliated with the Department of Health and Caring Sciences within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. Her clinical background includes surgical care, and she has served as lead supervisor within ULVE. She teaches clinical nursing, complex care needs, and pre/post-operative care, supervising bachelor's and master's theses.

Research Focus: Promoting self-care in older adults with chronic illnesses through co-creation between patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals, supported by digital tools. Key projects include the ReAction group (resilient healthcare and patient activation) and the Confidence in Every Step series. Her doctoral thesis (2025) explores eHealth's role in self-care among older adults with chronic conditions.
