Susanna Cordone is a psychologist and researcher affiliated with the University of Rome “Sapienza” and a member of UniCamillus. She holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology, Psychophysiology and Personality, and has served as a research fellow at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology “V. Erspamer” in Rome. Her work focuses on electrophysiological markers for neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, and sleep EEG analysis. She has collaborated with Policlinico “A. Gemelli” and the University of Bari’s Sleep Laboratory.
- Education: PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Sapienza University
- Master’s in Psychology with specialization in Health and Cognitive Rehabilitation
Her research interests include early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases via EEG, VR-based cognitive assessment, and oculomotor studies in athletes. She currently works as a freelance psychologist and publishes on sleep biomarkers in neurodegenerative conditions.
Collaborations include the Sleep Laboratory at Policlinico Gemelli and projects on VR applications for patients with cognitive impairments. She has contributed to national/international studies on cognitive rehabilitation methods.
