Susana Garcia Lopez is a Professor in the School of Engineering & Physical Sciences at Heriot-Watt University, with a dual affiliation to the Institute of Mechanical, Process & Energy Engineering. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham (2010) and an MEng from the University of Oviedo (2004). Her research focuses on carbon capture and storage (CCS), clean coal technologies, and environmental engineering solutions for sustainable energy.
