Susan Wilson is an Advanced Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Loyola University Chicago, where she serves as a part-time faculty member. She earned her BA from Harding University and both her MA and PhD from Northern Illinois University.
Research Interests
Her research focuses on the intricate processes of racial-ethnic identity development among young adults. She investigates how racial-ethnic socialization practices shape identity formation, influence cross-ethnic peer interactions, and affect psychological adjustment. These interests sit at the intersection of developmental psychology, social psychology, and cultural psychology.
