Susan Warheit

Susan K. Warheit is an Associate Professor of Legal Writing at St. Thomas University College of Law. She teaches Legal Research and Writing, Advanced Legal Writing, Appellate Advocacy, Federal Legal Research Boot Camp, and the classroom component for the International Moot Court Team, where she serves as a Faculty Advisor. Susan Warheit specializes in Appellate Advocacy, Legal Writing, and Legal Research. Her expertise is grounded in practical legal experience and academic instruction, focusing on enhancing students' ability to craft persuasive legal arguments and conduct thorough research.

Prior to her full-time faculty role, Warheit was an adjunct writing instructor at St. Thomas University School of Law. She served as Career Law Clerk to former U.S. Magistrate Judge Stephen T. Brown and worked as a senior associate at a civil litigation firm, handling state and federal litigation with emphasis on complex commercial cases. She is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Florida Bar, Federal Bar Association, and Peter T. Fay American Inn of Court, where she currently holds the presidency.
