Susan Rothstein is a Professor of Linguistics at Bar-Ilan University, known for her expertise in syntax, semantics, and the syntax-semantics interface. She delivered a guest lecture at the University of Latvia's Faculty of Computing in May 2017 titled "Counting and measuring: the evidence from 'furniture'". Her research focuses on mass nouns like 'furniture' and 'footwear', as well as locations as individual entities, and has been presented globally through collaborations with institutions such as Leiden University, Cornell University, and the University of Paris VII.
