Denis Delfitto is a Full Professor at the University of Verona, affiliated with the Department of Cultures and Civilizations. His research bridges Linguistics, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Philosophy of Mind, focusing on syntax, semantics, computational linguistics, and comparative studies in Romance/Germanic languages.
His research projects include investigations into atypical language development (e.g., bilingualism and developmental dyslexia), non-standard negation, and the interface between language and perception. He has led funded initiatives such as
