Susan M. McDowell

Susan M. McDowell, M.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She serves as an orthopaedic oncologist specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal tumors at UR Medicine, part of the University of Rochester Medical Faculty Group. Dr. McDowell maintains multiple clinical locations across New York State including Victor, Canandaigua, Rochester, and Henrietta.

Dr. McDowell's educational background includes an MD from Indiana University School of Medicine-Indianapolis (2007), followed by an internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Indiana University Medical Center (2007-2012), and a Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Oncology at the Mayo Foundation Rochester (2016-2017).
