Susan M. Kornfield is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan Law School, with additional teaching appointments at the Ross School of Business and School of Information. She chairs the intellectual property practice group at Bodman PLC, bringing over 30 years of experience in transactional and litigation matters, including serving as lead counsel in the landmark copyright case Princeton University Press v. Michigan Document Services.
Her expertise spans Intellectual Property, Copyright, Antitrust, Technology Law, Information Law, Marketing Law, and Ethics in Technology. She actively shapes policy through long-term service on Stanford University's advisory committee for academic information resources and the University of Michigan Advisory Committee on Copyright, while lecturing widely on technology ethics.
Professor Kornfield's distinguished recognition includes:
