Dr. Susan Lattanzio serves as the Research & Industry Engagement Manager and Deputy Director of the Made Smarter Innovation: Centre for People-Led Digitalisation at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Her role focuses on fostering collaboration between academia and industry to address real-world challenges through transdisciplinary approaches. She holds a PhD in Engineering from ASset Management Decision Support Tool Governance and a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of the West of England.
Her research emphasizes integrating diverse stakeholders to drive innovation in digitalization, sustainable development, and decision support systems. Key projects include the People-Led Net Zero initiative and Responsive Manufacturing Systems. She has been recognized with the International Digital Storytelling Festival 2024 Award.
