Susan Lanham is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting and Legal Environment at Lewis College of Business, Marshall University. She specializes in forensic accounting, expert testimony, and legal compliance. With over 25 years of experience, she has prepared 2,000+ economic loss reports and testified in numerous court cases. Her research focuses on forensic accounting methodologies, expert witness standards, and emerging data security challenges.
Dr. Lanham holds a PhD in Advanced Accounting (North Central University, 2013) and an MBA (Salem International University, 2007). Her work bridges academia and practice, addressing real-world legal and financial issues. Recent research highlights include analyzing Rule 702 amendments in federal courts and preparing businesses for encryption challenges.
