Susan Kalet serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Temple University's College of Liberal Arts, teaching French language courses including French 2041: Reading I with expertise in French language instruction and cultural pedagogy.

Dr. Kalet's research centers on 18th Century French Literature with specialization in Enlightenment-era gender studies and literary analysis. Her scholarly work examines Voltaire's "Candide" through the lens of Cunegonde's character, contributing to intersections of literary criticism, women's studies, and French cultural history. She maintains active focus on French language pedagogy and curriculum development for diverse proficiency levels.
