Susan Jeavons is a Senior Lecturer in Companion Animal Health and Welfare within the Department of Animal Health, Behaviour and Welfare at Harper Adams University. She leads modules including Applied Companion Animal Health, Welfare and Behaviour; Companion Animal Studies; Animal Ethics; Principles of Animal Behaviour and Welfare; and Animal Management and Welfare. She also serves as a guest lecturer for the Harper Keele Veterinary School.
Her expertise encompasses animal collection management, welfare ethics, companion animal behavior (with specialization in rabbit husbandry), and animal-related legislation. She chairs the Academic Misconduct Panel and Mitigating Circumstances Panel, and is Deputy Chair of the Quality Standards Committee. She holds a Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
